- Locate the leak
- Remove the Refrigerant
- Fix the leak
Steps to arrest Gas Leak by Anil Jain Refex
- Please go through the product label and safety data sheet.
- Make sure there is enough ventilation.
- Do not expose refrigerant cylinders to sparks, flames or hot objects.
- While handling refrigerants, wear impervious gloves, safety glasses and other protective device.
- In case of contact with eyes or skin, wash immediately with water.
- If any chemical spills on the cylinder, immediately clear the surrounding.
- Do not lift the cylinder holding the valve.
- Never leave an empty cylinder open because moisture in the atmosphere may enter
- Never apply direct flame or live steam to the cylinder.
- Keep kids away from the usage area.
